SCOT-SAVER member Paula French recently took part in the Cancer Research race for life in Glasgow on Sunday 8th June 2008. From loyalty cards sold in her local area SCOT-SAVER donated £125 towards the total funds raised of £2500. The race T-Shirt worn by Paula on the day was printed by local business My Moniker of Bathgate and given as a donation. Paula would like to thank everybody who kindly donated to this worth while cause.
Running a kids football team is an extremely expensive game these days, with never ending supplies of kit and equipment required. Whitburn F.C.A Rose under 12’s Football team have been working with SCOT-SAVER to raise funds to help fund their new team kit. Family members and friends have purchased loyalty cards from the boys in the team and so far they have raised over £100.
Whitburn Boys Brigade have been working with SCOT-SAVER assisting with the sale of loyalty cards to help raise funds for their company. So far they have raised £100. Over the coming months the company leaders and boys will be selling cards to friends family an neighbours to help support local businesses and to raise more funds towards a new company flag to celebrate the 125th anniversary since the Boys brigade was founded.
